How can you make whipped cream cheese frosting taste better?

My friend and i are in a "cupcake war" and are going against her sister and her mom....we ate the regular cream cheese frosting on some carrot cake... Anyway, all they have now is whipped cream cheese frosting and it doesn't taste the best. Any ideas on how to improve it? Im thinking mix it with some vanilla extract and brown sugar to sweeten it...its sort of plain and not really "whipped" per-say.
